There are lots of resources for Girl Scout leaders and volunteers if you know where to look. We've tried to stock this page with lots of shortcuts to help you find what you need.

Volunteer Essentials: has tons of answers for running a troop. This should be the 1st place you go if you've got a question.

Volunteer Tool Kit: this council resource gives you all of the tools to plan a year of meetings and complete your financial report.

Activity Approval: use this link for getting your troop's special activities submitted to our LMSU Activity Consultant and approved by council. If you have questions regarding whether your activity needs approval contact our LMSU Activity Consultant.

Volunteer Conference (VC)

Every August the San Diego Girl Scout Council hosts the VC. It's a chance for the San Diego GS community of volunteers to come together for training and to celebrate our community spirit. ALL GIRL SCOUTS LA MESA TROOPS ARE REQUIRED BY COUNCIL TO SEND A REPRESENTATIVE TO LMSU MEETINGS.

LMSU meetings: 6:30-8:00 on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Parkway Middle School, 9009 Park Plaza Dr., La Mesa, CA 91942.

Monthly meetings help leaders stay current with training and council policies. But we also provide support, encouragement and friendship on your Girl Scout journey
