Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups are groups of Girl Scouts who what to focus on a particular area of interest.

Examples of Special Interests are:

 

Travel - girls may come together for one trip or for a series of trips.

​

TrailBlazer - interest in the outdoors and high adventure.

​

Mariner - water sports and boating.

​

The details: â€‹Girl Scouts may join a Special Interest Group while being concurrently registered in a regular Girl Scout troop (their home troop) IRMs can also register with a Special Interest Group as their home troop.

Juniors Outdoor Skills Series 

October 2021 - May 2022

​

We will focus on Hiking, Camping, Survivorship and Stewardship. The girls will plan two overnight camping trips (March and May). Meetings are on the 2nd Friday of the month. 

​

Junior Girl Scouts currently in 5th grade are invited to join a new Outdoor Skills Trip group forming now. Learn outdoor skills in a series of workshops. Make new friends and plan 2 camping trips.
