Yours in Girl Scouting

Hi La Mesa Service Unit,

My three year term as La Mesa Service Unit Manager has come to an end. For the past six years, I've been a part of building the La Mesa Service Unit into a cooperative, friendly and supportive environment. I've had a lot of great experiences and built relationships with many devoted volunteers. I've had the support of a great Service Unit Team that has helped us accomplish goals that started out as hopes and dreams.

If you're feeling isolated as a leader or unfulfilled as a volunteer, I encourage you to take a bigger part in the LMSU. Attend meetings, help out at events. You'll find people that you connect with and who lift you up.

I love being a part of the Girl Scout Movement and LMSU (photo is from the Girl Scout Convention last week in Orlando). I will be devoting the majority of my volunteer time to my Cadette Troop and Travel Troop.

As always I'm available for any support or questions. Please welcome Nicole Ries, the new LMSU Manager. I know our La Mesa Girl Scout community is in good hands with her and the LMSU team.

Yours in Girl Scouting,

Rebekah Hill
