LMSU Winter Encampment December 15-17, 2023 Location: Camp Winacka 4720 Boulder Creek Rd, Julian, CA 92036 Come experience winter at Camp Winacka! Camp Winacka is located in San Diego County near the mountain town of Julian. It covers 625 acres of varying terrain in the Cuyamaca Mountains, with two small lakes. There are four modern cabins with mattresses on the floor in a heated lodge and four rustic accommodations with mattresses on bunk beds in screened, open-air cabins with no electricity or heat. All of the living units include access to flush toilets and hot showers, a fire ring, and a lit central porch with picnic tables. Enjoy numerous hiking trails and several excellent lookout points. Troops will have access to a refrigerator. Outdoor wood grills are available on site and propane stoves can be either rented from council or you can bring your own. Let's Cook is a required to use wood grills and outdoor stoves.

- Let's Cook Needed if you are cooking meals over grills, camp stoves or campfire, it is possible to have a no/low cook weekend.
Kapers: You will be responsible for following; - Your own troops meals - Clean up your own troops meals - One clean up kaper on Sunday.
