MAY EVENTS:
Monday, May 13, 2024 BEYOND JUNIORS at Parkway Middle School 6:30-8:00pm An evening to explore Girl Scout opportunities for older girls. More challenges. More Adventures. Bigger Goals. FREE event, registration appreciated for Ice Cream Sundae Bar Count!
Wednesday, May 15, 2024 VOLUNTEER MEETING at Parkway Middle School 6:30-8:00pm Bring your Troop Treasurer!! We will be walking through the Annual Financial Report! It is time to submit your troop's Annual Financial Report for May 1, 2023-April 30, 2024. This report should be completed by the Troop Treasurer, then reviewed and submitted along with the April bank statement by a Troop Leader or Troop Assistant Leader to the Finances tab on the Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) prior to June 1. Troop Financial Tracking Worksheet can be found under “Tracking Troop Income and Spending”.
May 17- May 19 2024 CAMPGROUND TAKE OVER Burnt Rancheria Campground! Please share pictures of your troop at the take over, there is no official programming. Kick back, relax and hang out with other La Mesa troops.

Saturday June 8, 2024 La Mesa Flag Day Parade Meet at 8:30 am 4975 Memorial Dr, La Mesa, CA 91942 Wear Festive Patriotic Attire & GS Vest Bring Decorated Wagons, Flags, Banners, Bubbles, Face Paint etc. Bring Water, Snacks & Sunscreen! Parents are welcome to walk with us.

Saturday June 8, 2024 COURT OF AWARDS San Diego Balboa Program Center Cabin 1 1231 Upas St. San Diego - Park on Main level near GS Store. Please use the Google Form to submit information to the Service Unit so we can recognize your troop's achievements at the ceremony!
Troops 5073 and 5946 will be selling hot food and drinks as a fundraiser. CASH ONLY
Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the Girl Scouts this year.
After Ceremony SMORES will be FREE!

Meet other Cadettes from La Mesa Service Unit with a fun filled sleepover. Come for the LMSU Bridging Court of Awards and stay for the sleepover. Space is limited.
Games, movies, Night Owl Badge activities.
$5/Per person.
Wednesday June 19th Volunteer Appreciation Dinner 6:30-8:00pm Relax and share a meal with your fellow La Mesa Girl Scout Leaders and Service Unit Volunteers.
