Girl Scouts of La Mesa have a reputation for friendly and helpful cookie booth handovers. Please advise your troop parents that booth shifts end 10 minutes before the hour. All booth materials should be packed up, but you can remain selling until the next troop begins selling on the hour (or until they arrive if they are late).
Arrive at your booth location no more than 10 minutes before your shift. Tell the troop before you that you are there and ask how their shift was.
Be friendly and share any information that you have learned about the booth during your shift.
Girls should greet each other and hand off the booth with a Girl Scout handshake and wish the next troop good luck with their sales.
Clean up all cardboard boxes and trash - take them with you. Boxes should never be left at a booth location store.
Be patient and follow the Girl Scout Law. Many parents or caregivers do not know all of the rules. Always model good behavior for your Girl Scouts.
Be kind to each other. We all have the same goal.
