What's even better than earning a patch? Designing your own! Girl Scouts here in La Mesa have a tradition of submitting patch design ideas each time we have a Service Unit camping trip (called an Encampment.)
Planning for our 2023 Spring Encampment is in full swing, so we're excited to share our official event fun patch! This patch combines the eye-catching patch designs submitted by LMSU Girl Scouts Avery and Olivia. Both girls nailed the design challenge by coming up with concepts that emphasized the "Embracing Our Earth" event theme. Well done, Girl Scouts!
Our next step is to work with a patch design company to make the real things! In the meantime, La Mesa Girl Scouts should keep an eye out for information sent via email regarding Spring Encampment and our next Camper Council meeting!
