The 2022 Girl Scouts San Diego Volunteer Celebration is coming up, and two outstanding leaders from the La Mesa Service Unit are among the honorees!
Nicole Ries and Alexandra Prsha will receive the Appreciation Pin at this year's celebration.
According the Girl Scouts San Diego: "The Appreciation Pin recognizes a registered adult Girl Scout’s exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This service, which has had a measurable impact on one geographic area of service, helps reach and surpass the mission-delivery goals of the area."
Prsha is a Daisy/Brownie leader and a dedicated Service Unit Volunteer. Her accomplishments include co-leading the recent Fall 2022 Encampment. She currently serves as Fall Product Coordinator for the Service Unit.
Ries is a Brownie/Junior leader who also volunteers much of her time and expertise to the Service Unit. She co-led Fall 2022 Encampment planning alongside Ries and SU Manager Rebekah Hill. She currently serves as the Service Unit's Lead Membership Recruiter and as Service Unit Manager, Registrar.
These awards will be presented Saturday, Nov. 5, at The Academy of Our Lady of Peace. Click here for more information.
