Wilderness Hiking covers outdoor skills and knowledge and is a prerequisite for the Basic Backpacking course and Advanced Backpacking trips. These classes fill up fast! What is Girl Scouting without camping? Get your adult training completed so your troop can camp. The class progression through Girl Scouts San Diego is: Basic Overnights, Let's Camp, Let's Have a Campfire, Let's Cookout, Let's Tent. These classes fill up quickly, so get trained BEFORE you plan a camping trip.
