This La Mesa Service Unit tradition will take place Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Parkway Middle School. Girl Scout troops of any age are invited to host a table and present a holiday of their choice!
If your troop would like to participate, please see the info and registration form. On the form is a list of potential holidays for girls to choose to present. The list of possible holidays spans the globe—and history! Mark your troop's top three choices (or add a different option), and an event organizer will be in touch to confirm which holiday your troop will present.
Girl Scouts should learn about the holiday and prepare to share what they've learned. Each troop that presents will also provide either a simple craft activity or a food item that embodies the holiday. They should prepare the craft activity/food for 100 people. Presenting a holiday is a great leadership opportunity, and presenters will also be given plenty of time to visit the other holiday tables!
PLUS: For each troop that presents a holiday, 12 troop members can get in free to the event.

General registration is also open for Holidays Around the World. Tickets are $5.00 for girls (adults are free), which includes a chance for girls to try the foods and do the crafts showcased by our host troops! All participants will get a fun patch!
